Every student prepared for the future
At Macksville High School, we are committed to ensuring every student has a clear pathway to success beyond school. With a diverse range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses and a dedicated Year 10 Employability Skills class, students develop practical, transferable skills to pursue further education, training or employment.
Opportunities that lead to success
Through our broad and challenging curriculum, students access diverse opportunities in work readiness, creative arts, public speaking, leadership, sport and STEM. Supported by specialist teachers and tailored programs, students develop the knowledge and practical skills for real-world capabilities to pursue their goals and embrace new challenges.

Macksville High School’s cultural programs such as Sista-Bro, 3 Canoes and Daari Gumburr support students to strengthen their cultural identity and engage positively in learning.
