Today our Year 9 debating team debated against Coffs Harbour High School in Round 3 of the Premier's Debating Challenge.
The topic was tricky - That the senate should be made up of ordinary citizens chosen by lottery.
Our team argued for the affirmative and although presenting a strong case, were unfortunately not successful this time.
A big congratulations to the team at Coffs Harbour, it's been a great series of debates and with 2 out of 3 wins, our team has done Macksville High proud!
