Dear Parents/Carers
We are writing to provide you with some information regarding support available for your child during this difficult time.
This advice is current until end of Term 1, Thursday 9th April.
Academic support
· The Learning Centre will remain open to support all students needing assistance with classwork. This support will be provided for students who are attending school and for students who are working from home.
· If your child is not attending school and needs some help with the work provided by their teachers, you can call the Learning Centre on 65681066 and speak to a Learning and Support Teacher or email Learning and Support Teachers directly and additional assistance will be provided.
· If your child is having difficulties completing the work sent home by teachers, the Learning Centre can also provide alternative work that may be better suited to your student’s ability level. This work can be accessed via email, post or collection from the school office.
Emotional support
· The school counselling staff can be contacted through the school and are available to speak with you and/or your child.
· Alternatively, we have attached a contact list of support services that you can access from home on-line or over the phone.
· If you need to contact a counsellor, please call the school and a counsellor will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
Please do not hesitate to contact the school on the contact details below if you have any further questions regarding the additional academic and/or emotional support available for your child.
