The Macksville High School Cattle Team continue to enjoy great success at all the shows that they have attended this year, including the Canberra Royal where they won a third place ribbon with one of their cows. Students have recorded significant success in cattle judging and parading which saw Kelsey Watt and Isaac Ryffel representing the North Coast at the Sydney Royal Easter Show this year.
Our next show will be the Brisbane EKKA in August and any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated, please contact the school for more details.
An end of an era has also come with our foundation dam, Rainbow Valley "Lisa" V10 being put up for sale via tender. This cow has won many supreme exhibit awards at Regional Shows on the Mid North Coast. Regarded by many cattle judges as one of the most structurally correct cows she would be an asset to any herd.
